COMPREHENSIVE BOTOX® & LIP FILLER TRAINING
This one-day Botox® and lip filler training course for Ontario dentists covers the essential science and injection techniques to effectively and confidently provide these services to your patients. Through a combination of lecture, demonstration and hands-on injection practice, you will learn to use Botox® for conditions like TMD, and gummy smiles.
This course is not a Botox® cosmetic course but you will learn the cosmetic protocols to safely inject in the cosmetically sensitive oro-facial area. In the lip filler component of this course, you will learn to rejuvenate, define and volumize lips using hyaluronic acid fillers.
This course emphasizes a comprehensive approach to Botox® and lip filler injection techniques which meet the RCDSO educational guidelines.
Lecture & Demonstration
- Essential science behind Botox® and lip filler treatments
- Injection techniques for therapeutic Botox®
- Protocols for the cosmetically sensitive oro-facial area
- Demonstration of injection techniques and clinical approaches
Hands-on Injection Practice
- Hands-on injection practice in a small group setting
- Practice therapeutic Botox® procedures
- Practice lip filler techniques using hyaluronic acid fillers
- Current Ontario licensed dentists may bring patients for two procedures under expert guidance
Clinical Assessment & Safety
- Assess patients from both a functional and esthetic perspective
- Minimize the risk of complications
- Learn how to mitigate complications that develop
- Apply injection techniques appropriate to the oro-facial area
Business & Practice Integration
- Learn the business aspects of therapeutic Botox®
- Learn the business aspects of cosmetic lip fillers

Cancellation Policy
Genesis Continuing Dental Education reserves the right to cancel any course at any time. In such cases, a full refund will be issued to each participant. Reimbursement will not be provided for any other expenses associated with registration. Costs incurred for travel and hotel accommodations remain the responsibility of each participant.
Participants who cancel more than 60 days prior to the course start date will receive a full refund. Participants who cancel less than 60 days but more than 30 days prior to the course start date are entitled to a refund minus an administrative fee of $100 for courses with tuition of more than $1000 or $50 for courses with tuition less than $1000.
Participants who cancel less than 30 days prior to the course start date are not entitled to a refund. All course cancellation requests must be sent in writing to courses@genesiseducation.ca.
